Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Kept Cleaning Australia (ABN 32 466 261 446) ("Kept", "we", "us", "our") is a residential cleaning service operating in inner Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
When you create an account or book a Reset, we collect:
- •Contact details: Your name, email address, and phone number.
- •Property details: Your address, property type, number of bedrooms, and any access instructions or notes you provide.
- •Booking history: Your past and upcoming Resets, rewards progress, and any credits on your account.
- •Payment confirmation: Confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a payment reference. We never see or store your card number — see section 4.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- •Deliver the service: Schedule and complete your Resets, and access your property as instructed.
- •Communicate: Send booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, and service updates by email.
- •Run rewards: Track your progress toward your free 11th Reset.
- •Improve Kept: Understand how customers find us and use our website, so we can make it better.
We never sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Square (Squareup Pte. Ltd. / Block, Inc.), a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Your card details are entered directly on Square's secure checkout and are never transmitted to, seen by, or stored on Kept's servers. Square's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate Kept. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- •Square: Payment processing and refunds.
- •Supabase: Secure database and account authentication. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- •Resend: Transactional email delivery (confirmations, reminders, receipts).
- •Vercel: Website hosting.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your booking in progress. We also use Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our advertising works — these may set their own cookies and collect standard analytics data such as pages visited and approximate location. We track which channel brought you to us (for example, an Instagram ad) so we can spend our marketing budget sensibly. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the booking flow will still work.
7. Storage & security
Your data is stored with Supabase using industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit and at rest, and row-level security so your data is only accessible to you and to Kept staff who need it to deliver your service. Access notes for your property are visible only to the team assigned to your Reset.
8. Access, correction & deletion
You can view and update your details at any time from your dashboard. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data entirely by emailing hello@keptcleaning.com.au. We respond to all requests within 30 days. Some records (such as payment and tax records) may be retained where required by Australian law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
